The stone houses in this small town tell us of its history, and the inscriptions on the doors indicate what the original inhabitants worked as in the 17th century. Its small streets and the different houses bear witness to its long medieval history, but also to the influence of those returning from Cuba in the 19th century. The natural and handcrafted materials and the subdued colours evoke an atmosphere of calm and serenity in this charming house, which is made up of six very spacious rooms, located on different floors and each one of them with its own character. Shared features of these rooms include the materials used, such as stone, wood and Catalan vaulted ceilings or wooden beams. The house had been used as a rural hotel, with two common rooms with a fireplace and an organic kitchen, garden with a small pool, just 50 metres from the house, where its own vegetables are grown, as well as being a perfect area for sunbathing. Las casas y sus piedras de este pequeño pueblo, nos cuentan su historia. Las inscripciones en las puertas indican en qué trabajaban las familias y los trabajos que realizaban sus habitantes en el s.XVII. Sus pequeñas calles y las diferentes casas dan testimonio de su larga historia medieval, pero también de un notable pasado indiano, testimonio de la aventura cubana del s.XIX que asistieron varias personas de este pueblo. Los materiales naturales y artesanales y los colores tenues evocan un ambiente de calma y serenidad en esta encantadora casa, compuesta de seis habitaciones, muy espaciosas, que se encuentran en las diferentes plantas y cada una de ellas tiene su particularidad. Todas ellas comparten elementos de piedra, madera e incluso algunas conservan la bóveda catalana o bigas de madera. Tiene un huerto-jardín ecológico con una pequeña alberca, a tan solo 50 metros de la casa, en el que se cultivan las propias verduras y hortalizas, además de resultar una zona perfecta para tomar el sol. Anteriormente la propiedad habia funcionado como hotel rural, con unas criticas buenisimas, y si se quisiera puede volver a funcionar como hotel rural.
