In de omgeving van het park kunt u genieten van zowel de rust als de mooie drukke stad. Op het park kunt u genieten van het verwarmde buitenzwembad met kinderbad, een speeltuin met toestellen, jeu de boules en een voetbalveld. Verder is er een restaurant, een café/bar en een snackbar. Ook vindt u vlakbij het park een manege.Wat Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel uniek maakt, is het prachtige recreatiegebied Hitland met zijn steenovens. Hier fiets en wandel je door het bos, de weilanden met veel vogelsoorten en veengebieden. Ook ontdek je er elementen uit het verleden; veenputten, wielen, watermolens en sloten uit het oude polderlandschap. Ontdek de rijke geschiedenis van de steenovens en bezoek de markt. Er is een wandelevenement (Wandelvierdaagse) wat hier altijd één groot feest is. Verder is een bezoek aan de traditionele vlooienmarkt en de Hollandse IJsselrit voor oldtimers iets wat je gezien moet hebben.Hier vindt u de rust van het platteland, terwijl steden als Rotterdam, Capelle aan den IJssel en Gouda op korte afstand te bereiken zijn. Ideaal als u een dagje wilt winkelen, bezienswaardigheden bekijken of de beroemde Goudse kaasmarkt wilt bezoeken. Ook in de nabijgelegen dorpen Ouderkerk aan den IJssel en Capelle aan den IJssel kunt u diverse monumentale molens en boerderijen bezoeken. Daarnaast is het park perfect gelegen voor een bezoek aan een van de vele musea, dierentuinen, attractieparken of binnen- en buitenspeeltuinen die de omgeving rijk is. In samenwerking met Ticketsplus biedt het park de leukste dagjes uit in de omgeving. Voor veel leuke dagjes uit kun je bij de receptie op het park kaartjes kopen.Vanaf 1 januari 2019 zijn zakelijke boekingen niet meer toegestaan.- Bij de receptie staat een pinautomaat. Het is mogelijk om met een creditcard te betalen. - Tickets van € 100,00, € 200,00 en € 500,00 worden op het park niet geaccepteerd.

- De borg dient bij aankomst uitsluitend via automatische incasso te worden voldaan.
