Il Mulino ha il vantaggio di essere a Mazara del Vallo, una bella cittadina di mare con una bella spiaggia bianchissima, un bel centro storico di origine Araba e centrale rispetto a tutti i luoghi più belli della Sicilia occidentale. In mezzora si possono vedere i Templi di Selinunte, i templi di Segesta, Marsala, le isole Egadi, Mozia, Erice. In poco più si arriva a S.Vito Lo Capo, ai Templi di Agrigento,al Duomo di Monreale a Palermo. Per vivere una bella vacanza è d'obbligo avere un auto. La bellezza delle spiaggie sabbiose, mai affollate, a pochi minuti d'auto(la spiaggia di Tonnarella, di Capo Granitola, la riserva naturale (Foce del Belice) sono preludio di una bella vacanza estiva. Mulino di Bona Casa , 1880 a Mazara del Vallo Il mulino ( pastificio ) è stato costruito nel 1880 da Andrea Bona Casa . Un meraviglioso esempio della prima rivoluzione industriale, ci sono ancora conservate che ha lavorato con ingranaggi e cinghie . Molte macchine per fare la pasta. Il mulino a carbone richiedeva un altezza di circa 42 metri che dava una vista sulla città di Mazara ed è stato un punto di riferimento per le barche dal mare . Durante la rivoluzione siciliana , il proprietario ha aperto la porta per il pubblico affamato e arrabbiato, e grazie a quest'azione il mulino non ha subito le devastazioni di vandalismo come è accaduto in altre fabbriche della zona dalla feroce resistenza dei proprietari . Nel mulino circa 300 dipendenti hanno lavorato durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale finché si aveva chiuso i battenti perché il governo italiano non ha consentito che almeno uno dei due figli del fondatore , un vecchio, è tornato dal fronte per soccorrere l'impresa familiare.

De molen werd gebouwd in 1880 door Andrea Bonacasa en is een prachtig voorbeeld van de eerste industriële revolutie. Vele pastamachines zijn bewaard gebleven, waaronder machines die met tandwielen en aandrijfriemen werkten. De kolengestookte molen vereiste een stapelhoogte van ongeveer 42 meter en bood daarmee uitzicht over de hele stad Mazara. De hoogte maakte van het gebouw een referentiepunt voor de boten vanaf zee. Tijdens de Siciliaanse revolutie heeft de eigenaar de deur geopend voor het hongerige en boze publiek, waardoor de molen werd gespaard van verwoestingen. Omliggende fabrieken van minder welwillende eigenaren werden wel beschadigd door vandalisme. In de molen werkten ongeveer 300 werknemers. Tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog bleven de deuren gesloten. De Italiaanse regering stond het namelijk niet toe dat ten minste één van de twee zonen van de stichter, al een oude man, terugkwam van het front om het bedrijf te runnen.
