This delightful holiday home is located by Hunneberg on Vargön. It is a cottage set next to one of Sweden's most well-maintained rectories. Carl Von Linné stayed there in 1746. The scenic environment is perfect for long walks or bicycle rides. It was carefully renovated in 2015. Care has been taken to keep the old look and atmosphere. Bicycles can be rented for 100 sek per week and bicycle. There are four available. The holiday home features four bedrooms, two on the bottom floor and two on the upper floor. It's a short one-hour drive to Gothenburg, with it's populat funfair Liseberg. Another destination for a daytrip is Skara with it's outdoor waterpark Skara Sommarland. The possibilities are endless! Heute werden darin Urlaubern 8 Schlafplätze zur Verfügung gestellt, verteilt auf je 2 SZ im Parterre und in der 1. Etage. Beide Hausetagen verfügen praktischerweise über WC und Dusche. Über einen kleinen Vorbau betritt man zunächst die helle Küche mit sowohl Elektro- als auch Holzherd. Im Anschluss daran befinden sich das gemütliche Esszimmer sowie der Aufenthaltsbereich. Der Einrichtungsstil ist typisch skandinavisch, schlicht und hell. Nebenan steht auf dem Grundstück eine alte, rustikale Holzlaube, die man u.a. für Mahlzeiten an der langen Tafel (siehe Foto) nutzen kann. Sie wohnen hier in Västra Tunhem, am Fuße des Hunnebergs und genau zwischen den Orten Trollhättan und Vänersborg. Somit stehen Ihnen zahlreiche Freizeitangebote zur Auswahl, darunter Wanderungen und Radtouren entlang der kleinen Kieswege der Umgebung und durch die reizvolle Natur am Hunneberg oder Angelausflüge in die Umgebung (Angelschein erforderlich). Vor Ort können vom Eigentümer 2 Fahrräder für je SEK 100,- pro Rad und Woche angemietet werden (Angaben sind ohne Gewähr). Zudem liegen Ausflugsziele wie Trollhättefallen, Slussområde, SAAB-Museum oder das Spaßbad von Vänersborg in Reichweite.
