A warm welcome to this little, red, log cabin called the Forest Hut, “Skogshyddan”. The cottage is located next to a forest in a rural environment and beautiful landscape with proximity to lovely swimming at Vänern's beautiful beach in Hörviken. Here you are close to many fine sights such as Läckö castle, Hinden reef and the fishing village Spiken. The cabin is located on a family farm and shares land with three other houses and cabins that can also be booked for larger groups. House number: 52631 - Ekeberg, House number: 52687 - Grävlingsberg, and House number: 52688 - Klockrike. The cabin has a simple charm and is perfect for two people. The family room has a kitchenette with a dining table and a TV. There is a bunk bed with 2 beds 90 cm wide. Bathroom with a toilet and sink is just outside the cabin's entrance on the right, adjacent to the entrance and the small, covered terrace. The shower is an outdoor shower with a shower curtain for screening. The forest cabin has a balcony with outdoor furniture for nice dinners and outside the cabin, blueberries grow in the fall. The water in the house is called "Vänervatten"(Lake Vänern water) and can be used for cooking, showering, and washing in.It is possible to drink the water to the house A rowing boat and two kayaks are available at the bottom of Hörviken for rent - shared with guests in the other houses - rented for a price per day per boat/kayak. You, along with the guests in the other houses, has full access to the boat house. More information is available in the accommodation and by contacting the service office. In Hörviken's Marina you can listen to live music and eat good food, buy ice cream and swim during the summer. The area invites you to beautiful hiking trails and boat trips from the areas Naven and Spiken. Hörviken’s Marina is only 1 km away by car. The bathing dock is at the last pier at the Marina. Cliff bathing is a must at Naven. For families with children, there is a sandy beach at Läckö castle, Läckö beach and Svalnäs. You can also rent bicycles at the Marina and kayaks can be rented at Naven. Fine hiking trails, pilgrimage trails, can be found at Läckö, Läckö beach and Otterstad, which invite you to explore the area. For those interested in golf, it is only 4 km to Läckö golf. Das Häuschen liegt zugleich in der Nähe von Schloss Läckö, Hindens Rev und dem Fischerdorf Spiken. Das Ferienhaus steht in ländlicher Idylle, auf einem gemeinschaftlichen Grundstück und mit drei weiteren Häusern vor Ort auf dem Gehöft, ideal falls Sie mit mehreren Familien anreisen möchten: Hausnummer 52631 - EKEBERG Hausnummer 52687 - GRÄVLINGSBERG Hausnummer 52688 - KLOCKRIKE\ Das Häuschen bietet einfachen Charme und Platz für zwei Personen. Offener Küchen-/Aufenthaltsraum mit Schlafnische, in dem ein Etagenbett mit zwei 90 cm breiten Kojen steht. Kleine Küchenzeile sowie Esstisch ebenfalls vorhanden. Das Badezimmer mit Toilette und Waschbecken befindet sich direkt vorne am Eingang der Hütte, mit Zugang über die kleine, überdachte Veranda. Zugang nur von außen. Zudem praktische Außendusche am Haus mit Duschvorhang zur Abschirmung. Die Waldhütte hat eine kleine Veranda mit Sitzgelegenheiten. BITTE BEACHTEN: Das Wasser im Haus kommt aus dem See Vänern und kann zum Kochen, Duschen und Waschen verwendet werden. Das Wasser kann getrunken werden. Ein Ruderboot und zwei Kajaks können ganz unten in Hörviken gemietet werden - diese werden auch weiteren Gästen angeboten - zu einem Tagespreis pro Boot/Kajak. Alle Gäste haben Zugang zum Bootshaus.
