The immediate area has great hiking opportunities for the whole family. In the mountains, you get magnificent views of the sea and the many islands beyond, the largest being the island of Vega. Day trips by car to the coastal towns of Brønnøysund in the south with the famous mountain and tourist attraction Torghatten, and Sandnessjøen in the north. Car ferry to the island of Vega, well worth a visit. Prking by the house. Boat trip to Hamnøya outside with several idyllic sandy beaches is a great experience for the whole family. 1 km to restaurant/coffee distillery, 2 km to grocery store. Rich fishing opportunities in the sea. Fish in the open sea area or in more sheltered areas between the islands should the weather conditions be rougher. 1.8 km to the marina where 19 feet Kværnø self-draining aluminum boat with steering console, Garmin 72 cv chartplotter / echo sounder and 50 hp Yamaha 4-stroke can be rented.
