Which is why the local coat of arms bears the cross of the Order of Malta in chief.

A Ordem do Hospital de São João de Jerusalém, de Rodes e de Malta, ou apenas Ordem de Malta, como é hoje mais conhecida, teve importantes possessões nos limites deste município, tendo aqui várias comendas. Razão pela qual o brasão autárquico ostenta a cruz da Ordem de Malta em chefe.

Jana Jeruzalémského, Rhodu a Malty, nebo jen Maltézský řád, jak je znám dnes, měl významné majetky v rámci této obce a měl zde několik vyznamenání. Proto je ve znaku obce vyobrazen kříž hlavního Maltézského řádu.
